Adventureland

Directed by Greg Mottola, "Adventureland" is a 2009 coming-of-age comedy-drama set in the summer of 1987. Recent college graduate James Brennan (Jesse Eisenberg) takes a job at a local amusement park, Adventureland, to save money for graduate school. Amidst the park's quirky staff and patrons, James navigates the trials of young adulthood, forming a complicated relationship with his co-worker Em (Kristen Stewart). The film captures the bittersweet essence of youthful transitions and the unexpected lessons learned along the way.
