Ghosts

Ghosts is a British sitcom that aired on BBC One from April 2019 to December 2023. The series follows Alison Cooper, who unexpectedly inherits the crumbling Button House, only to discover it's inhabited by a diverse group of ghosts from different historical periods. After a near-death experience, Alison gains the ability to see and interact with these spirits, leading to humorous and heartwarming interactions as they all attempt to coexist. The show was created and performed by the ensemble known as Them There, including Mathew Baynton, Simon Farnaby, Martha Howe-Douglas, Jim Howick, Laurence Rickard, and Ben Willbond. Filmed on location at West Horsley Place in Surrey, the series received positive reviews for its unique premise and strong ensemble cast. A tie-in book, 'The Button House Archives,' was released on October 26, 2023.
