Directed by Louis-Julien Petit, 'Kitchen Brigade' (French: 'La Brigade') is a 2022 French comedy-drama that follows Cathy Marie, portrayed by Audrey Lamy, a chef who leaves her position at a prestigious restaurant to work in the canteen of a shelter for immigrant youths. As she introduces the brigade de cuisine system to the shelter's kitchen, Cathy forms deep connections with the young residents, blending the art of cooking with heartfelt storytelling. The film premiered at the 2022 L'Alpe d'Huez Film Festival, where it won the Best Female Actor award, and was released in the U.S. in January 2023.
